Lorum suggested recently the addition of adaptiveness to humans.  I'ma take that farther and say kobolds can adapt too.

Also called: micro evolution

Cave Tree
Cave Fan
You are born in the caves and will probably live most of your life there.
Req Born or live 10 years of childhood (5-20) in caves.
Effect Immune to cave sickness.

Cave Dweller
Caves are all you know.  There is no outside world, only the cold, dark, dank underworld.
Req Cave Fan and 20 years of life in caves.  Born in caves to Cave Fan mother.
Effect Cave Fan effect.  Hunger and sleep drop slower in caves and faster in the overworld.

Cave Borne
Your world is defined by the ceiling, walls, and floor.  It can be expanded by tearing down the old barriers but new ones will always take their place.
Req Born in caves to Cave Dweller mother.
Effect Cave Dweller effect.  Sleepless in caves.  Midgard madness.

Cave Spawn
All powers of the underworld's corner of hell are available to you.
Req Spawn and Cave Borne reqs.
Effect Cave Dweller and Spawn effects.  Heightened geomancy, pyromancy.

Cave Forsaker
You lived in the caves.  Now you live outside them.
Req Survive Midgard madness.
Effect All Cave Borne cave effects apply outside of caves.
Achievement

Hell Magic Tree
Spawn
You survived the trip to hell.  That, or one of your ancestors did.
Req Survive the trip to hell.  Born to Spawn mother.  Born to Demon father.
Effect Always survive the trip to hell.  Demonic NPCs do not aggro.  Flame retardant.

Eldricht
You know hell.  There are rumors of a less hellish place, but they're just rumors, right?
Req Born to a Spawn mother that has never left or entered hell (born in hell).  Born to Naephil or Demon father in hell.
Effect Spawn effect.  Heightened demonic magicks.  Weakened faith magicks.  No age-related death.  Flame resistant.

Naephil
Nearly demon, nearly mortal.
Req Born to Eldricht father outside of hell.  Born to Naephil mother in hell.
EffectAlways survive interplane travel.  NPCs do not aggro.  Heightened magic.  Ageless.

Redeemed
No longer demon.
Req Born to Naephil mother outside of hell.  Born to Redeemed mother or father, 50%.
EffectAgeless.  Sleepless.  Hungerless.  Heightened faith magicks.  +5 to all weapon skills.
Achievement

Demon
Consumed by hell entirely.
Req Born to Eldricht father and Naephil mother in hell.  Born to Demon mother.  Torn apart by Taint of Hell (interact).
EffectAgeless.  Sleepless.  Heightened demonic magicks.  Unburnable.  +10 to all weapon skills.

Taint of Hell
Corrupted by hell.
Req Mate with demon.  Survive 50 years in hell.  Born to tainted mother.
EffectSleepless.  Heightened demonic magicks.  -10 to all weapon skills.  -10 to defense.  Able to open hell portal at will.  Able to tear self apart.
Achievement Become demon through Taint of Hell

Midgard Treeredundancy!
Desert Fan
People of the sand.
Req Born in desert.
Effect Lowered dehydration by desert.  Heightened pyromancy.  Tan skin to white races.

Desert Dweller
People of the deep sand.
Req Born in desert to Desert Fan parents.
Effect No dehydration by desert.  Heightened archmage of fire.  Dark skin to white races.

Icelander
People of the north.
Req Born in tundra.
Effect Lowered cold increase.  Heightened aquamancy.  Mild gray skin tone.

Yeti
People of the distant north.
Req Born in tundra to Icelander parents.
Effect No cold effect.  Heighted archmage of water.  Heightened arctimancy.  Gray skin tone.

Nord
Toughest people.
Req Born to Desert Dweller and Yeti parents.  Born to Desert Dweller and Icelander parents in tundra.  Born to Desert Fan and Yeti parents in desert.  Born to Nord parents.
Effect Desert Dweller and Yeti effects.
