I've just spent the last hour and a half looking over the source. I am now very seriously considering putting together a team and making a Dungeon Master Mod.
I don't bring much to the table. Just leadership and some very basic coding skills. So I will need at the very least an Iconer and another coder. The other coder just has to lay the framework and figure out how to make the ideas of the team work. I am capable of writing the time consuming lines of repetitive code.
I currently have the following mod ideas, should I get a team to work on them:
Dungeon Master: Frogmen Wars The prequel to my story Dungeon Master 0 in game form. The game would take place during the great war between the elves and the frogmen. Its main features would be several new races of Elves and Frogmen, a refurbished map, a faction and leadership system, and a simple yet functional magic system.
Survival Challenge Inspired by the good ol' days when me and a couple buddies would set up a base right beneath the goblin castle and see how long we could last. After two hours of runtime a survival challenge server begins to actively hunt down players with wave after wave of increasingly viscous NPC's. Its main features would include meaner AI, tougher survival conditions, and of course a whole host of new NPC's to fight and enslave.
The Earth is Flat A total conversion mod. TEiF is a fantasy game set during the age of sail and exploration. The world consists of a series of Archipelagos scattered across a vast ocean. Build your civilization, keep your people well fed and happy, research new technologies, and launch a vast fleet of ships to expand your empire and crush all opposition. This project will be very complex and may end up being its own game as opposed to a mod of Ginseng's code.
Smallwars A fantasy RPG mod that uses bugs and insects as opposed to Tolkienesqe generic races such as elves, goblins, and dwarves. Build your colony, arm your troops with weapons and armor made of anything from stones to leaves, and fight terrible titans such as songbirds and rodents. Smallwars will feature a minamalist magic system, where every unit is capable of learning and casting one spell at level five. Instead of mana there is simply spell cool down time.
Post in this thread to volunteer to join the team or vote on which project we should work on. I am not using a poll because I will weigh the votes of those who wish to help higher than those who do.

TEiF sounds like a huge project, and a nice challenge.
Survival Wars wouldn't be -too- intensive.

I actualy tried to make it myself two years ago. I invested like 20 hours into the project than lost the USB I was keeping it on. My last back-up was basicaly just the first ZBT with my crappy sailing ship Icons. That was my last serrious attempt at messing with Byond.

I've tried to make a game in the same style of TEiF, but I called it simply Colonization. It was a series of islands you could buy homesteads on, then turn those into smaller towns, then cities and eventually war with other factions. I'd icon for a game like that any day.
Also your Frogmen Wars, since it pretty much already has a story to it.
But since you'd be the boss man, it'd all depend on you. Just give a list and I'll start sending out icons.

Hmm... Well If I don't get another coder to volunteer in the near future, we'll have to do frogman wars. Probably calls for the least amount of change to the code.

Those were my ways of implying interest in coding

Oh. Sorry. I'm known to miss a subtle hint every so often.
I guess we have a team then, assuming the intrest Tahu is expressing translates into a definate yes.
Now that I know what you two want, I'm thinking we do survival challenge. As you said, it wouldn't be too intensive, and Co-Op seems to be very popular in games these days. Should we complete survival challege to our satisfaction we can, if we wish, move on to one of the other three, or somthing completely differnt.
Assuming neither of you two have major objections the first several steps we take will be as follows.
1: Apply for Survival Challenge Board
2: Figure out an aditional channel of comunication for the team. Most likely skype.
3: Plan and host one or more survival simulations where the enforcers simulate a monster spawning AI in a vanilla DM Server. We obserb these rounds to figure out what Items/NPC's/Game Mechanics could be added or changed to turn DM into a better survival Co-Op game.
4: Make a list of everything we want to add or change in our mod. We should be able to envision almost exactly how the game will play out before we start coding and Iconing.
Sound Good?

I'd have to pillage the rock band supplies if I wanted a working Mic, so no voice chat I'm afraid.
